After a winter of hibernating, I ventured out to see what was new at the Providence clubs. I went to Foxy, Cadillac, and Desire on a Wednesday mid-afternoon. I started at Desire. On my way there I drove by the old Cheater's and noticed they've got a new name/new management after being closed for over a year. Looks like they're re-open, but I can't convince myself to try it out.

Desire's parking lot was full at 2 p.m. I had to circle around a couple of times. It was far and away the busiest of the clubs I visited today. Nothing has changed inside. Both bars were packed with customers. There was some standing room only going on. There was a plentiful amount of girls working. Again, they were the most attractive girls of any club I visited today.

The hustle factor is low. I wasn't there long. I don't like crowded clubs. I don't feel it gives you time to make a connection with a dancer. It's pretty much, "Hi. You having fun? You want a dance?" Not that I was approached by anyone in my half hour there, but that's OK. If anyone struck my fancy, I have no problem approaching them. I did observe a steady stream of customers and girls going to the VIP rooms in the back corner. Business is good. Clean club, they have free food, management is friendly. girls are hot. What's not to like?
