Columbia is the nearest city to me with actual quality strip clubs, so I decided to check it out and was not dissapointed. I decided to go to Platinum West based on the other reviews from this site, and again there was no dissapointment.

The club has two stages and plenty of seating so even when it's busy, you're not going to be left standing which is something I appreciate. I took a seat in the back, right before the stairs that lead to the additional seating and it was kind of a slow area it seemed. At first I was bothered by one girl who definitely was not my type but didn't seem to get the hint, but figured I would get a dance with her to get situated and she led me to the series of couch type seats in the back, where it seemed like there was reasonable privacy. She took me to the far corner seat and gave a surprisingly good dance and then pitched the champagne room which seems like to go to move for girls at Platinum West. I declined her offer and went back out to my seat to get another drink, and she wandered off somewhere.

Next, I was approached by a blonde shots girl who was fairly well stacked and very drunk. I bought her a few shots and she gave me quite a bit of attention before I got her to move on. Next came a gorgeous brunette (name omitted but PM if you'd like) who I had noticed on the stage earlier. We chatted and had some good banter before I happily took her up on her offer for a dance. She did a three song set, but I cant remember the price I may have had one too many drinks but I want to say it was around 50-60. Then, like the sucker I am, I took her up on the champagne room. $300 for the club and the same to the girl, with all sorts of promises thrown in. To her credit she did deliver, and I was not disappointed. So, all in all I left with a little less cash in my wallet than I had planned but with a good experience. So i would recommend a visit, the biggest downside I can see is the hustle these girls seem to have, but I can't blame them too much.
