For clubs in Indianapolis, Ricks is one of the nicer clubs. As you enter, you'll meet the doorman, and walk down a hallway. The lounge seems small with the stage in the middle of the room. To the left of the table is the bar. Prices are quite expensive, and I remember paying better prices elsewhere. I got in at, what I felt, was a reasonable time - around 6/7 (it was right as it opened for the night). I began at a couple of other clubs, and things weren't happening there, though there were dancers. I figured since Ricks was on my home (I usually hit the south and east of Indy, then head west, and up around 465). Ricks was dead, even at opening, prices were high. The only selling point was that the ambiance was pleasant. My recommendation is that you hit Rick's late in the night when things might be more lively.
