Went on a “US 19” trip...

Went on a “US 19” trip last night and Brass Flamingo was the first of my three stops, as I figured I’d start at the top of 19 and work my way down back toward my hotel. Got to BF around 9:45. Paid the $8 cover and sat at the bar with a $4 bottle of water (since it was a normal bottle, the $6 I paid Friday at Playpen didn’t seem so bad…but I digress).

When you walk into BF the main stage is in the middle of the front section and the main bar runs along the right wall (you enter on the right side). There’s also a back bar, which is where I sat. Seating is pretty good, although that may have been a function of my arrival time.

Everyone was really friendly, which was quite the surprise. All the bartenders welcomed me and smiled. They looked good, too. If only they were dancers. As far as the dancers, most of them were pretty. None were “thick”, but they were very well-proportioned. At the :15 mark of every hour (that I was there), the girls all got on stage so everyone could see who the entertainers were. They were all white, except for two black girls: one of whom was quite drunk – she said so herself – but was fine as all outdoors, and one who kind-of favored the female gremlin from the movie (the one that had on the wedding dress). In terms of who actually talked to me, Murphy’s Law won yet again.
