I've been to California Girls in...

I've been to California Girls in Santa Ana probably a dozen times over the past two years. I've seen some changes for the worse in that time. The bouncer is less friendly. The automated DJ experiment made songs shorter (and hence lap dances were shorter too of course). There's generally been a less friendly vibe with more of a hustle attitude from the girls. Speaking of the girls, I like that CG has always offered a variety of girls, from small and skinny to tall and curvy, and usually there are Asians, African Americans, white and Latino girls at any given time (I like the variety).

It's like anywhere, I guess. The girls can be great, and are good conversation, but a few of them are all about the hustle. Once in awhile I've been pulled in for more money than I should've spent, from a girl who barely grazed me during the lap dance. But usually the girls are cool, they give average or above average lap dances, and frequently they're actually a lot of fun to be with. I would recommend coming before the night rush, because you'll have more girls vying for your attention with fewer customers to keep them occupied. I like having my pick of the girls, but if you don't mind waiting or fighting for their attention, a lot of the most attractive girls work nights.

Overall I'd say CG offers pretty consistently good contact/nastiness (in a good way) per dollar spent. I've been burned a couple of times, but the majority of my experiences here have been positive.
