This place can be very hit...

This place can be very hit and miss as far as talent. It helps if you visit somewhat regularly and have an idea of when girls you like usually work. But even then, you can have some bad luck. That happened to me on this visit. My favorite dancer here is Stephanie, who generally works Thursday through Saturday nights. My second-favorite is Carol, who I have also seen on Thursdays before. So I figured at least one of them would be there, right? Wrong. Both were off. And there wasn't anybody else there that really got me excited.

I probably should have cut my losses and left, but I let the little head overrule the big head when Manuela approached me. She is a cute girl and was vastly superior to anyone else working that night. But I had been with her a few times before and the service was inconsistent. I'd also had a problem before with her inflating the dance count. But against my better judgment, I decided to get some dances.

Sure enough, she started bullshitting me with the dance count almost immediately. From the booth we were in, I could hear the buzzer that goes off to indicate we had finished a song, followed of course by the time checker knocking on the booth. But she she would periodically say, "That's X number of dances, want another one?" Once again thinking with the little head, the last thing I wanted to do was get in an argument while my pants were around my ankles. I figured we could debate her math skills after I was finished. She ended up claiming five dances when I had only gotten three. I said, "OK, let's check," and went straight for the guy keeping track. I asked how many dances, he confirmed my count, I paid her and left. I am confident the next time I'm desperate, I will be able to say no to her. Not worth the hassle.
