Joy is still a favorite, and recent re-decorating has made it a little more habitable. As the construction on the intersection of interstate 35 and TX 45 is going on, it gets a little difficult to get to the place. On my last visit I found that they had posted a map with a "back way" that works quite well. It involves taking the right turn before Joy's and doubling around through the parking lot next door. Complex, but if you need your Joy's fix, worth it.

One thing I have noticed recently is a general decrease in the lighting level, and an increase in ... lattitude given to dancers? Perhaps this is a response by the management to the construction difficulties. The quality of the food has somewhat improved as well. The $1.99 strip steak and fries was actually good the other day.
