Quick side note. Went past Keeders. No parking, corner bar no indication that they were open. Would not go out of my way to visit. I was traveling from Detroit to Grand Rapids and decided to stop and check out the scene in Jackson. I stopped at Cracker Jaxx just after they just opened. The outside of the building was nice. There was spacious parking. In a remote part of the town. Bathrooms were clean. Walked in and there was a dancer already on stage. A total of 6 dancers were there. 2 could afford to loss some weight but somewhat attractive. 1 could loss a little weight. The other 3 were okay. 1 was a very good dancer. The stage was always occupied and no dead time. The # of customers was about the same as dancers. Beer price was a good buy @ 3.75, Most of the music was country but it was okay. The girl that final came up to sit had only been stripping for 3 months and was very nervous. She did not handle a conversation but she was trying. The others appeared to have their regulars and were making some money. After new girls 2nd set she came back because I tipped her on stage. We finally went into the back. Private area was okay and clean. Private dances are $20.00 and the contact is based on the girl. Had 2 semi decent dances finished my beer and left. I would like to see this bar at night. At least the girls did not have the heads stuck into the cell phones like some clubs I have been to. All in all it was a decent time for the 2 beer price. I usually don't travel this direction but it would be worth another stop.
