Been a while, so I thought I'd check on Silk. Visited Friday afternoon around 4pm. There were 3 customers and 4 dancers (ranging from 5-7 on looks). One dancer was sitting with a customer; one was watching tv at the bar, and two were eating pizza at the bar. No dancers on stage when I entered. Ordered a bourbon on the rocks ($7.50). About 10 min later, the bartender tells the tall brunette it's her turn. I'd seen her around here before; she's put on a few pounds over the past months but she's still one of the better looking girls. Never had the opportunity to experience her lap dances. I left disappointed after one drink.

If you're unaware, they're the only club with $10 lap dances every day. It's in a fairly private booth area where they may touch you, but you can't touch them (varies by the dancer). Then there's a more private room with more mutual contact for $25 per song. Finally, they have the most private room for some unknown higher price (over $200 per half hour I think). As others reported, it is hit or miss. The value of the $10 song occasionally draws me to this place. I've had dancers (no longer employed) that have given a great grind at that price. The problem is that the girls are not motivated. They lazily sit around the bar until it's their turn on stage. I assume their just waiting for their regulars, but it would be nice if they came up to customers and struck a conversation. I'd buy a lap dance(s) if I like her looks and had a good intro conversation.
