I really don't go to SCs...

I really don't go to SCs anymore. The main reasons are it gets pricey after awhile. The drinks aren't cheap and laps are usually about $30. Unless you know the girl, you run the risk of losing $100 on a few shitty dances if the girl is no good. Overall, there are better ways to spend the money.

I speak from some experience as I have gone to clubs for over 30 years and squandered $1000s of dollars. Maybe I'm getting smarter, or maybe I'm just getting old (or both), but the clubs don't thrill me the way they used to.

Having said that, I went to TWO clubs this week! The first was Carousel (see review). The reason for going was I was with my buddy at a nearby steakhouse and stopped by for "dessert". This place I went with another buddy who lives nearby and wanted to check it out. He didn't have to twist my arm.

It was relatively early (9pm) when we got there. Bunch of girls, all but 1 white. 1 Brazilian, 1 Russian, and the rest were locals. Even though some were not to my taste (excessive tats, etc), all were pretty, some hot.

I think beers were 8.50 and drinks were 15.00. I was just there to BS, not looking for dances. The problem was there were more dancers than customers at that time. But to give this place credit, the girls still did their routines. Not like some places where the girl will just sit and mooch for singles if there aren't many customers. Girls were nice, and I bought a drink for the beautiful Brazilian. There was one local girl who, although very attractive, kept pushing for dances. She eventually saw the light.
