Haven't been to the Barrel in...

Haven't been to the Barrel in a while so I thought I would check it out. I noticed they had done some remodeling though the place was just remodeled when the new owners took over. The bartender who was really nice told me the bar top was new, the VIP rooms were done and the private booths to the right of the stage were new. Actually it all looks the same to me but the bar top was really nice. I got there like 11:30 and the place was relatively empty but within an hour it started to fill up a bit. Here's where I started to feel uncomfortable as the crowd was not what I expected. It looked like everybody from the Cordial came over to the Barrel. The dancers were OK but I could see they were there for their demographics. I guess the place is just not for me so it's back to the Mirage.
