After reading the many comments with great interest, I decided to see
for myself firsthand what the rave was all about on a Thursday evening after arriving in town. Aside from from the concrete dust due to parking lot construction, this club is as classy as it gets by most standards(and I've been to a few clubs all over the nation), tremendous interior decor helps its lofty status I'm sure. Had to go through the mandatory metal detector upon entering after which I was greeted by a very friendly waitress who was waiting in the wings as soon as pay cover or show a pass. This place was a packed house and everybody seemed to be having a good time, I saw quite a few couples as well. Most were already settled in with their dancers of choise and the seats along the walls were completely booked in all areas I could see. Finally a table opened up, my waitress was very attentive to finding a table asap. However, it must have a been a stroke of bad luck because after about half an hour checking out the scene I was approached by the most obnoxious, intoxicated dancer who seemed like she tripping on acid. Her greeting in the first moment included profanity and a pushy attitude. Maybe because it was around midnight and she hadn't made her
stash for the night... kept pushing the VIP within moments of sitting down..I finally decided to buy her a drink at her request only becuase it was the only way to keep her mouth shut. I forget her name(forgettable) but she as half filipino and half freak... you only get one chance to make a first impression! Attention Management: Dancers could use some training in this area, maybe they should become waitresses first. Didn't have much chemistry with this particular person at all, had much much better conversation with the sweetheart waitress who took care of me for the short time I was there. I'll give this place another chance next time I'm in town, have to show up before midnight for sure even they close at 4am. I guess the lesson learned is not to show up late since everybody seemd to be already settled in, higher risk for a person to run into dancers that nobody really wanted as company... found The Gold Cup a far far better experience the night after. I will give Treasures a 9 for decor and ambiance and there seemed to be a wide array of dancers. But for the overall rating and to be honest my first impression overall was a dud mainly because of the dancer. Give it a 6.5 and I don't round up. Onto the next review!
