It had been quite a while...

It had been quite a while since I'd been to Playhouse. Last time I went they gave you plastic cups for your free drinks (now use wristbands). It was around 11 PM on a rainy Tuesday night that I arrived. There were maybe 10 dancers and about as many patrons. What makes this club worth the hour drive from Newark area is the prospect of high mileage. This time was no exception. From previous visits I'd say the average dancer rating was down a little bit, maybe a 6.5 vs. the usual 7. To my disappointment there was really no one above an 8. To my disappointment as well there were very few voluptuous women to choose from. The only real voluptuous dancer was a bit big all the way around and never stopped by for the $1 stage side dance. That is another difference from earlier visits. Previously, everyone would come by for the $1 stage side dance and make their pitch. I think only half of them came by and try to solicit dances. First offer was from Ruby and after looking at the other talent for an hour turned out to be the best offer. She promised that I would leave the private dance satisfied and she absolutely delivered. No complaints at all. Had one other dancer give me the Playhouse shake, Melissa, I think, but everyone else sort of when through the motions with their solicitations. Dances are $30 and well worth it. Two drinks included with the $10 admission this night. Bought one extra water that was $3. Overall, dropped about $120 bucks on tips, drinks, and dances. I'd say a very successful evening based on cost and experience. Definitely looking forward to my next visit.
