Quite surprised that Ponytails has stood the test of time given its proximity to legendary joints like Mons, Scores, and Odyssey just down the street. But then again they do say there is something for everyone. Unfortunately here there is nothing for me and likely nothing for you. Arrived on a late weekday evening to an open door; that's right wide open so any mere passerby could easily get a sneak peak. Sure there is a curtain or two but ineffective. No security nor cover. Elevated bar to your immediate left uncovered what I believe where all of the 6 dancers that night; varied in all shapes and colors; none stood out. One was even kind enough to approach me, light up a stanky smoke, only to sound like her voicebox was removed in the alley behind the venue. Across the bar lies an elevated stage with standard seating and poles. Beyond that ... the laughable so-called VIP area. Did not know that adding urine-stained white leather sofas to a club creates an instant VIP atmosphere. Bathrooms are disgusting; ensure your tetnus shots are current. As for the value/ladies, did not get a single dance which takes place stage side or for a more intimate setting appears to be a VIP area in the back. While ample parking and on the main strip will not revisit. So many better options within minutes.
