I've been to Casa many times...

I've been to Casa many times in the past and have left either very happy or with a rather bad taste in my mouth. This last visit was the latter. Went there with a couple buddies cause a friend of mine just moved here from the East Coast and wanted a "Portland club experience". Place was packed out with lots of girls of all kinds and lots of very attractive ones. Now I've noticed in the past that on busy weekend nights the staff is much ruder and less accommodating. This night was the worst. Paid $6 to get in that included a raffle for a free dance (which never happened). Tried to leave to get something from my car and was told I wouldn't be allowed back in (after paying a cover?). The girls were pretty pushy about dances which is understandable with it being so busy. The worst was when I went to the restroom and forgot to fully redo my zipper and was hounded by the bouncer and insulted and almost kicked out if it weren't for the intervention of a dancer friend of mine. This is just ridiculous. If I return and see that bouncer again I will not be spending any money whatsoever there. With so many great places to go I can be a little choosy. Other than the bouncer would recommend for the "experience" if you've never been or are entertaining out of town company.
