I really want to like this...

I really want to like this club. It's by far the closest club to my home while my favorite club is almost 30 miles away. I've gone to The Runway a few times since my last review to give the club a chance after they made a really bad first impression. This review is based on a handful of trips to the club since my first one.

Dancers: The day shift and night shift are worlds apart. Unless you like overweight and, often, out of shape dancers you won't like the day shift. The night shift, however, has a good number of hot dancers. Unlike my last trip, the dancers were doing their job entertaining on the stage. On a scale of 1-10 I'd rate the day girls at 3-6 and the night girls at 6-9.

Hours: This club has the weirdest hours I've seen in any Portland club (Hillsboro is a Portland suburb). Although they proudly advertise a different lunch special every weekday, they don't actually open until 2PM. This guarantees that no one can actually get the lunch special during lunch hour. The "lunch special" ends at 5PM so you probably can't get it on your way home from work either. On Sunday through Wednesday they close at midnight, well before the Oregon liquor board requires bars to close. On the weekend (both Saturday and Sunday) they don't open until 4PM, guaranteeing that they miss out on any customer/husbands sneaking out while "running errands."
