Yikes. I was out of town...

Yikes. I was out of town traveling on highway 20 and I thought stopping by a club I had not been to was a good idea. I was definitely wrong with that idea. The place seemed okay, maybe a little shady, but that is fine with me, I am always down for an adventure. I went in and received a bunch of stares from the 5 or six guys sitting at the bar. This was definitely a local's bar hang out with a few dancers more than it was a club. I hope you like a narrow choice of domestic beers, because the options beyond that looked slim at best.

One dancer was giving a dance in the VIP area right off the entrance in what was probably a former closet. There was no dancer on stage and I got a beer waiting for someone to go on stage. Finally, the same girl, and by girl, I mean 40 year old who looked like she had a battle with meth at some time in her life, got on stage for three songs. It became apparent that she was the only girl in that night. Since I had some singles, I gave some out of pity and was propositioned for a dance pretty hard. I had no intention of getting a dance from a girl that was not attractive, and there were no other girls around. I bolted after about 30 min in the club feeling rather disappointed. So, my recommendation is that if you are in the area, keep driving either to Waterloo or Sioux City because it is not worth it in Fort Dodge. Maybe other nights are a different story, and for Fort Dodge locals, I hope they are, but my experience was dismal at best.
