It's been a year since I came to town and visited Bourbon. It was almost exactly a year ago to this day that I got my first taste of the best club in Phoenix. Nothing's changed much since last time. Bar area looked the same. The two dance stages and the physical layout was pretty much exactly how I remembered it. Everything down to the super low lighting and the small back area where girls take their customers for more private dances. The only thing different was the quality of dancers this time around were more miss than hit. During the 3 hours I was there on a Saturday evening, there were only 3-4 girls that I would consider hot and the rest were average looking with a lot of older looking gals. Maybe it was MILF night......who knows. Has Bourbon relaxed their hiring practices? Anyways, it seemed like I was the only one tipping all the girls on stage, but I rarely got any attention from the gals compared to the last time I was here. There was one brunette gal that really gave me some love for tipping her onstage, but the rest just seem to be going through the motions. I got asked for dances 5 times but I wasn't particularly attracted to any of them but I ended up going for two lackadaisical dances with minimal heat from a tall skinny blonde and a full figured brunette for 20 dollars each. After 3 hours, I wasn't feeling it was going to be my night so I decided to pack up and call it a night. I brought 400 bucks but ended up only spending 100 on two dances tipping at the rail and beer. Better luck next time I hope.
