This club was rated Best in...

This club was rated Best in Phoenix 2005 by the local New Times paper. So, I had to check it out. It was New Years Eve and I had just finished work at 10:30 with no party plans. I fugured bringing in the New Year with some naked ladies would be great. I was pretty amazed at how empty the parking lot was but, figured what the, I have come this far...

Inside, the place is huge in volume - ceiling must be 25 feet high a semicircular stage with the highest pole I have ever seen. Like one other reviewer said, watching the good girls on that pole is worth the price of admission alone. Some real acrobats. One dancer told me the pole spins around which surprised her the first time she did it. Anyway, on New Years, the place as EMPTY. Just maybe 7 of us lonely bastards in there and probably same number of girls. There were some people in the VIP lounge but, could not have been many. The semi VIP dances were 20 and so so. Even though there were so few customers, it took me nearly 15 min to get a drink and another 20 or 30 min for a lady to stop by and ask WANNADANCE?

I certainly don't see why it got the Best of award except maybe for the decor. I think there are better places in PHX.
