I was across the street at FGs and before I committed to a VIP session with a semi- regular I went to the Spice House to check out my options. These 2 clubs are about the only choices for early afternoon action in Reno. There were just a few cars in the parking lot. That didn't deter me as I have a great time in the past with just 1 dancer on duty.
Not the case on this trip. The place is on the small side and packed with tables. A main stage and a couple of smaller stages. Curtained off private dance areas in the back. They put up a sign over the entrance to the back "We won't tell if you don't". Or something to that effect.
I got a drink from the male bartender, no wait staff at this time of day. I wasn't seated too long before 1 of the 3 dancers on duty came over and sat down. She was too heavy for my tastes. I tried to ignore her. I was looking at the other girls at the bar and decided they weren't for me either. I saw another girl come through on her way to the dressing room. Some potential, but I was't going to hang around for however long it was going to take her to get ready.
I still have the same girl at my table. I notice that there is a bunch of broken glass on the floor. I point it out to the girl. "Yeah, someone dropped their drink and the glass broke." She seemed totally clueless about what (if anything) should be done about it. I finally convinced her to report it to the bartender. That got her away from my table and after I finished my drink I was gone.
As always afternoon are hit or miss. This has been 1 of a long string of misses.
