Staying in northwest Montana for a...

Staying in northwest Montana for a couple months on business I found slim pickings. But I found Fred's, and that was enough.

It's a small club/casino next to a truck stop and hotel. Most of the clientele I saw were truck drivers, so as a businessman I probably stood out. Not better or worse, just different. As you enter the club you find yourself in the bar area, which is sort of separated from the seating for the stage. The stage is clearly visible from the bar, but they're clearly separate. Signs advise you that cell phone use is prohibited in the stage area.

The stage is pretty good sized, and sits in the middle of the room, with seating up close, and tables on a raised platform on three sides of the room against the wall. Total capacity is probably 36, but I never saw the place anything like full. The stage is surrounded by a brass rail. There is no contact with the dancers. Tips are draped over the rail, and the dancers have creative ways of "raking" the tips off the rail and onto the stage uses their various assets. The sets seems to pretty consistently consist of 3 dances, and their level of nudity depends on the tips as you might expect.
