The Bare continues to have a consistency of attractive dancer shifts, based on 2 recent seperate night visits(midweek, and Sa. nite). Surprisingly, Sa. nite wasn't much more crowded than midweek night. I'd rate overall grade 7.5, if I could, but opted for lower grade due to some little negative trends I've noticed. First, the HIGHS: 1) Dancers- Both nites 6-9, mostly 7-8ish. Some diversity, but weighted towards blondes. I'd say that a good 1/4-1/3 of dancers are tall, eg North of 5'7" w.o. heels. If you like tall dancers, this is one club for you. 2) Mileage- Not strongest in area, but agreeably moderate mileage can be had, again, YMMV. 3) Club- Comfortable seating floor area, and partitioned lap dance area. DOWNERS: 1) Clipped Songs- Midweek was often in the 2:30 range, several Sa nite songs in 3:15 range. With several clubs in 3:30 plus range, this is a negative. 2fer songs clipped, didn't time them. 2)Prices: $5.75 non alc drinks, $6.25 bottled water??? $40 topless, some ungodly 3 figure amt. per half hr for skybox, which I've never seen used. BOTTOM LINE: There are definitely some good lookers, and satisfying dances to be had, but aforementioned "gripes" shows a trend to be more about squeezing than pleasing customer. Still, a good, if not slam-dunk choice when in LA.
