I have been seeing the ads...

I have been seeing the ads for this place for quite awhile...including billboards on the PA Turnpike, so I figured it would be worthwhile to check it out. Found my way there on a Friday night. In sort of an industrial neighborhood, but not really threatening. There was a good crowd....but not packed. This place has a different vibe from other clubs I have been to in NJ and the Philly area. I suppose it is intentional, and a nod to being "upscale". The club is nicely appointed, and the bartenders and roving servers were all very, very attractive. The "uniform" is sort of Playboy club style, with fishnet stockings. There were definitely some servers who I would like to see as dancers. The dancers covered a broad spectrum...well not that broad...nobody was old, nobody looked skanky. But, within the range there were some with tattoos {some with LOTS of tattoos), some who were painfully thin, some with bolt ons, some natural, some that were very, very pretty girls.

As to how this place differs from other clubs I've been to - the "dollar parade" is virtually non existent. The stage area is nice and ringed by seats, but there isn't alot of interaction for tips. At the places I usually hang out - after a girl dances, she makes the rounds of the bar or outside the bar for 1 or 2 or 3 bucks from each patron. On the one hand - nice not to be worked over in this way, but on the other hand there wasn't much chance to interact with a lot of different girls and chat them up. When I dancer came around to chat and discuss a private dance, it was made clear that it would be hands to your sides. No touching. A phrase I read a lot on this site is "your mileage may vary"....well - here there is no mileage! I did visit the private dance area, and it was nice enough, but the seats are pretty close together - so on a busy night might be not so nice. It was as promised "no touching." There is an up sell available for a more private space with a fully nude dancer for a half hour. That was offered at $150 as I recall. And, then the ultimate up sell was a one hour session in an even more private room referred to as the "executive lounge" for $450. Seriously? That is a car payment! I can't see spending that kind of money what might be questionable results....or even the $1509 as far as that goes. I know places where for $150 it is a "done deal"...no question on what you will experience.

Did see at least one couple sitting at the bar. There was a lot of dancers sitting around having drinks with patrons and having long extended conversations. Seems like maybe the model is more dancing as a preview, and extended conversation as a means to up sell to the $150 or $450 options. So - maybe a good fit for somebody willing to drop a lot more money in a club that I am ever going to.
