As you can probably tell from my TUSCL handle a topless-only club just doesn't cut it for me. So after boozing it up at Minx Cabaret in Groton on Saturday night I eagerly made my way next door to the all nude Minx Cabaret After Dark. It's in the same building as the topless-only  Minx Cabaret. But it's a separate club because full nudity is not allowed in clubs that serve alcohol in CT. After Dark is strictly a juice bar (no booze). Not sure sbout BYOB. It has a different vibe than the topless club as After Dark is 18 and over to get in and stays open till 4 am. Here's a some details...

There's a $15 cover (or $5 if you have a stamp on your hand from next door) and you get another stamp on your hand so you can leave/re-enter. There's also a two (non-alcoholic) drink minimum which tacks on another $10 to the cost of your visit. But luckily on my visit the waitress was busy smoking and flirting with one of the bouncers, so this wasn't enforced. This side of the club is small- about a quarter of the size of the topless club next door. It's also much darker than next door and has those annoying strobe lights that occasionally blind you. The stage is off to right after you enter. It's a low runway style with about a dozen lounge chairs. There's another dozen lounge chairs with tables in front of the stage and a half dozen high tables with bar stools along the front wall. The restrooms are back over by the entrance along with a single "Champagne Room" without Champagne. There's also three VIP sofa-style booths along the back wall behind the stage that are reserved for groups that pay for "bottle service" (ie probably a 2 liter diet Coke). As there's little standing room, this place felt crowded even though there was probably only 25 or so patrons. In contrast to next door, almost all the patrons were grungy kids. Felt like a keg party without a keg. Smoking is allowed inside and it looked like a lot of the kids here smoked a few too many doobies. 

Ok so on to the reason we're here... the ladies! There were about a half dozen ladies working the nude club with a couple of ladies working both clubs. Unfortunately the best looking ladies stayed next door with their panties firmly kept on. The talent on this side was in the 5 to 6 range IMHO. Nearly all had prominent tattoos.  No real beauties but no dogs either. However I'm happy to say whatever the ladies lacked in looks they made up for with enthusiasm and friendliness. Some of the ladies working ...
