I was excited to return to Shooters when work took me to the area and was even more excited when their facebook listed six dancers for a Tuesday night. My excitement was premature as there were only three girls actually on the shift. I got to the club and paid the 10 buck cover which came with a free beer. I went to the stage and started tipping the girl there who was cute and friendly. Each dancer did a three song set on stage and made her way around giving small closeup topless shows for a tip. After the fourth dancer went through the DJ called for a break. I expected that to be a song or two but it went for 30-45 minutes. In the mean time I was hoping to get a lap dance, but all the dancers who had been friendly on stage either hung onto their local regulars who weren't spending any money or went to the back to play pool or darts, which the DJ said were 20 bucks a game topless. When the break was over, no one had come around to offer a dance and they went through the stage rotation once more. I even asked one of the girls to stop over and she said okay, and then went and did shots with someone else at the bar. When the four dancers went through their rotation, the DJ issued last call despite there still being a dozen guys in the place and they closed a bit before 1 am even though bar time is 2. Not sure why, but it saved me a pocket full of cash to spend some other day. It's a nice club, I just wish the girls would just take a chance with a new face. They might make some more money.
