Busy but boring local bar, that happens to have dancers
I was stopping in Amarillo on a trip, so I thought I would check this place out. It was a Sunday and a holiday, but the parking lot was half-full around 11pm, so I thought that maybe it would be worth it. But it was a waste of time.
The building looks like a converted restaurant, but it was in good repair and clean. You enter through what used to be the waiting area but the outside windows have been walled up. There is a ticket window to the left, where I paid the cute attendant the $7 admission fee. As you go in there is a medium size area with bar tables each with 4 chairs around them. The chairs are padded and with solid arms, nicer than most clubs but not fancy. What I thought was the main stage is directly at the back of this seating area. The seating area goes further back to the right, and there are even more tables that way than around the main stage. And then I notice the second stage immediately to my right, at the front of the building. It's smaller, but not one of those tiny "go-go dancer" stages.
There was a dancer just finishing her last song of a set, on the main stage. She was Latina, or mixed AA, I'm not sure. Medium tits but a nice round ass. After her set, she immediately sat with a regular right at the stage for a while, then moved to another table of regulars in the back, then a few minutes later when across the club to a third table of regulars.
I call them all "regulars" because I didn't see her, or anyone else do any other dancers working the room. Not doing dances on the floor, not leading customers to any private or VIP area that I could see. There were a lot of women in street clothes scattered about the club, but all but one were part of a couple. In fact, there were several tables with two couples, man-woman. It really gave off a towny bar vibe.
A short, slight pudgy waitress came as soon as I sat down to take my order. I got a sprite, which turned out to be only $2. There was a table-topper that listed specials, mostly beer or liquor, for every day but Friday and Saturday, and all the special prices seems cheap, too. They apparently serve food as well.
I noticed that the bartender was really pretty, with nice sized tits, and I saw another cocktail waitress who was really cute, in a nerdy girl-next-door kind of way. After 3 songs where no other dancer on stage, I flagged this 2nd waitress down and asked her if she would dance. She laughed and said, "maybe next month...".
Finally, the only other scantily-clad girl I saw in the whole club, who had been sitting with someone in a today far from either stage, gets called to dance. She goes to the smaller front stage. She's a white dirty blond spinner, with really mosquito-bite tits and not much ass. After she starts the third song with her bikini top still on, I decide that sleep would be more exciting than this. Just in case there are more girls lurking, I wander down the long bar which extends down a "room" that stretches back from the center third of the main area and see another big room with a couple of pool tables where 3 guys for playing pool.
Total spent-- $10, counting the buck I tipped my waitress.
To recap: I would have rather seen the door attendant, the bartender, the cute waitress, or even my chubby waitress dance, than the 2 dancers that were barely working. If you just want to drink, it looks like there are plenty of sports bars in Amarillo that probably wouldn't charge you $7 to come in, like this place does.
