I had to make a trip to Atlanta so I made time to hit my favorite club in Atlanta. There is not much you can add about the bar itself that hasn't been covered by the previous hundreds of reviews on this club. The dancers and the service is about all that changes at Follies. I arrived at noon to avoid the mandatory valet parking and charge. I always take along a little something to tip the lady who checks you in, it's always worth a little extra rubdown or a few more pats. I normally start out at the bar to see who is working, Angie (bartender) is great. When I decide on dancer, I move to a table for dances then decide on whether to make a trip to the VIP room. Michelle gives great dances and is a lot of fun. She's worth the VIP trip but make sure you talk about her rates first. The norm is $52 for the room, the $2 surcharge was added a LONG time ago to cover the cost of replacing the couches in the VIP rooms, which have never been replaced. Most dancers spend 30 minutes in the rooms for $100. I've had some say the $100 covers 5 dances, twice the rate of the $10 table dance on the floor. A few, including Michelle, have a higher rate. She didn't charge me "her" rate since we didn't discuss it prior to going to the VIP. She gives great a VIP service even if it's at a higher rate. I also met a few new Columbians who have just moved to Atlanta, very pretty and said they would provide extra service in the VIP room. I noticed a few of the long times blondes haven't been there the last few trips, don't know if they moved on or if it's a case of bad timing on my part. All in all, Follies is till the club to hit if you're in this part of Atlanta. There are always 20+ dancers working and most will ensure you have a fun trip to the club and make you want to return.
