Recently visited Catwalk Club as part of a bachelor party night out. The club is pretty ghetto, although no worse than you'd expect for New Haven. BYOB policy saves some money, although expect to part with plenty. That's also pretty standard for New Haven (and Connecticut clubs in general). The interior was kind of grubby - I certainly wouldn't want to eat anything there. The bathrooms weren't the worst I've seen, but again, pretty bad.

None of the girls there would win a beauty contest. What they lacked in looks, though, they made up for in enthusiasm (although I got the sense that if we hadn't been showering them with singles to entertain the groom to be, they'd bolt in an instant). One girl in particular pretty much stripped the groom to be. He got a kick out of it, but I would have been pissed - she actually ripped his shirt off when she dragged him on stage. She rewarded him with some impressive grinding - again, he enjoyed it, which I guess is what matters at a bachelor party, but I felt bad for the other guys at the bar, who didn't appreciate seeing a guy on stage blocking their view. Most of the handful of girls there appeared to be Hispanic.

Not the worst place I've been, but not a place I'd ever return to on my own. Based on my buddy's experience, I'd recommend it for bachelor parties, but otherwise I'd recommend looking elsewhere for a good night out.
