I was heading to Bucks, but...

I was heading to Bucks, but unfortunately the do not have enough parking, and, as it had rained all day, the vacant lot next door was a muddy mess. So I decided to check out Pin Ups, which is just up the street on Mark IV Parkway. Plenty of parking there, which in retrospect does not surprise me.

Cover was $7.00, in the front room where the girl takes your cover charge, there are posters of Bettie Page, and I noticed that other forties pin up-style art is posted along the walls. So that is where the name "pin ups" comes from. Nice touch. The building is in pretty good condition. As you walk in the door, you are confronted with a large oval bar in front of you, in the middle of the room. The main stage is beyond that, on the western end of a large rectangular room. There are a couple of pool tables on the east end of the room. There is very nice VIP section on the far east end of the room; it looks comfortable but not really very dark or private. It is posted on the door that dances in the VIP room are $30.00.

I sat down near the main stage and the waitress explained the drink specials to me. Longnecks $1.75, "Crown and down" $2.00. That sounded good so I ordered a crown. Tipped the waitress $2.00 on a $2.00 drink, in hopes that that would ensure decent service. There were only about 10 girls in the joint, ranging form 4 to maybe a 7 (being generous). There are four pole stages in the building, but only two were in use. The girls were doing two song sets, first song with bikini top, then topless.
