I stopped by Amber's a Saturday...

I stopped by Amber's a Saturday night after a fundraiser. It's been awhile since I stopped by and I did not know what to exactly expect. Several bars on Brookpark Rd were getting tighter with the rules. There is locked entry into the club and you will have to pay a fee to enter. The fee was $5. I think that may be cheaper than other times since I arrived past midnight (probably closer to 1AM). Not sure if I have ever figured out the logic of the entry fee here. As you enter the club, the bar is on right and stage is on left. There are tables throughout the bar. I chose the seats at the bar.

I already had a few beers so I just settled for water. Of course, that did not stop the girls from their hustle. The girl's drinks are $10+ so the hustle gets expensive. I'm not crazy about it but I usually buy a drink if the conversation starts out well. The bar was busy and bartender already had a few in her. She seemed dedicated more to socializing with dancers than serving customers. This did not bother me but the couple next to me (guy & girl customer) was very bothered.

I was kicking back for about 20-30 minutes before a girl approached. Not a big deal as there were not many lookers. Finally, the girl that did approach me had a cute face but a little bigger than I normally approach. She said she had been drinking all night and was very talkative. She told some crazy stories about what she's seen here (other girls stories possible wink wink). She was friendly and so I figured to buy her a drink. At that point, she started an under the table handshake. She was a aggressive and I had to stop her several times. I figured she would be good for not-so-private dance. The dances are done in the open off to the side of the bar. They are watched closely but you could get a decent grind and handshake. She explained the rule was no touch if her top was off. It seemed like an odd rule but it didn't matter to me. Her dances were tamer than the handshake at the table. I cut out after two dances.
