We a little free time, I decided to conduct some recon so I pulled into the parking lot and headed in.

Typical 7th Street dive-dark and dirty. I had not been this place in a couple of years and I don't think anything had changed. I'm not even sure anything had been cleaned. One bartender working, three customers all sitting at the bar near the door. One girl with them. I assume she was a dancer, but she was wearing jeans and a T-shirt, so I can't say that with any assurance of fact. Ordered a bourbon/rocks and for $5 I got the stingiest pour I have ever had in a club and two "rocks." I asked for a few more since I like my bourbon cold and offered up one more cube. Decided at that point to save my breath. Sat there just long enough to nurse my drink and look around. Never saw another dancer, te bartender disappeared for a few minutes and the place smelled of smoke. Not the stale smell that many of these clubs have after years, but fresh smoke. That was a little stranger since I thought all of the clubs were finally obeying the no smoking ordinance. Finished my drink and headed for the door. At this point the "dancer" said "Don't leave baby, I was just getting ready to come molest you." Told her maybe next time and kept going. Headed down the street to my next stop. My be at least two more years before I try this place again.
