Stopped by Blackjack's tonight after work...
Stopped by Blackjack's tonight after work to see the layout and talent. The layout was pretty good considering it is a pretty small building. As I came in, off to my left a chubby blonde was giving what looked like the end of a lapdance to a guy sort of sitting in an alcove just off to the side - didn't think much of it because of the alcoves at BabyDolls in Dallas. Went in to find a smallish bar, a reasonable raised dance floor with a long sniffer's row. Pretty standard layout until I saw the tents. Yeppo, just what I thought - tents? Come to find out the VIP ares were sort of walled off with nice looks curtains to create a sort of tent kind of look. Last time I saw this sort of approach it was in a club in Minneapolis with a sandstone facade not far from the HHH Dome (sorry the name escapes me). Sat down and a waitress got me a beverage in reasonable time - it was just soda so I expected to be gouged and I was. That was the last thing that was thing that was positive from this visit.
The talent was dramatically poor in bodily appeal - sorry to say they were just not interesting. There were six girls there and one was AA. She was the thinnest. I know that losing a liquor license can really impact the amount of traffic (and income the dancers can generate) and this place really shows it. The dancers were trying to be interesting, sexy and mysterious, but it just doesn't work when they look pasty white with limp hair and no tone to their bodies. I stayed long enough to see all the talent, chat up a bouncer (only to find out that the talent was typlcal) and drink up the last dregs of my diet coke).
Not worth the price of admission or the ten minute drive from work. This area of Chicago needs a hopping joint with cuties and access to a beer.
