Shooters Alley is sort of a...

Shooters Alley is sort of a peculiar black club. It is located on Buford Highway just past I-285 in a strip mall of sorts. Free parking and cover during the day. I got here just after 3:00 Sunday afternoon and stayed until 6:00. Not very many customers initially but more came throughout the day. About eight dancers on hand...all black with perhaps a mixed one in there. Most of the dancers were sort of petite and athletic looking but still had a decent sized booty. There was one dancer there with huge bolt-ons for her small frame. Very diverse customer base of black, white, and Asian men. Didn’t notice any Latino men but there might have been some.

The layout of the club to me is sort of like a long rectangle. There is a long bar that spans about half of the width of the club with stools, two rectangular stages with two poles each, restrooms on the left side as one is facing the rear, VIP area in the rear, a few couches scattered about, and lots of small tables and chairs in the center and alongside the wall. There were no high top tables and chairs.

Music is primarily rap and soul/R&B music although there were a good bit of reggaeton and pop. The big DJ was alright for the most part. He never interrupted songs and let them play out fully. Only time I heard his voice was when he was announcing dancers and reminding the customers to tip. He never chastised nor insulted the crowd about not tipping unlike other DJ’s at many other black clubs in Atlanta.
