Dropped in on Spearmint Rhino which...

Dropped in on Spearmint Rhino which is my favorite club in Lexington. Kind of a quiet day with about 3 or 4 girls on duty from the day shift. About 3 guys in the club so it was very much just random pairings with the girls hoping to find a lap dance or two. They did the usual 3 songs on the main stage, nominally topless first song and nude for last but mostly nude all the time. I met a young lady named Kat (Kathryn) who was an interesting conversationalist. Talked about a lot of topics before we decided it was time for a lapdance. I have been here often but still ask what the rate was, since this tells me a bit about what I might expect. She said she had not danced recently and wanted to check the prices with the manager. Not sure how strict pricing is this day but for her, she wanted to follow the menu which these days has changed to be topless dances for $25 per dance or nude at 3 for $100. They also have 15 min private room for $150 (private means curtain drawn). They removed about 1/2 the "booths" in the VIP area and now it is a mix of open benches on one wall and booths on the other. I think they are taking the other small rooms out of the mix, not really sure why. Food is still being served and decent but have not seen the super deals as I have in the past. The dance I got from Kat was the $150 variety. She allowed liberal hand roaming but nothing near the kitty and she did a lot of rubbing but nothing under the pants or such. Just a generic dance that was nice but probably not really worth the $150. I think for this money you can get a lot more mileage at some places like Divas or Cowboys with the right girls. I am not sure if I am still as big a fan of the Rhino as in the past. I may need to sample Divas, Cowboys or maybe Platinum again. Just seems across the board a lot of turnover with rarely seeing the same girls at the same clubs in recent days.
