Lace is located in the middle...
Lace is located in the middle of bustling Times Square in Manhattan. There is a ground floor lobby entrance. The admission fee is $20 and mandatory coat check is $3. The Club itself is quite small by Manhattan standards, and there are mirrors on both sides of the walls to make the appearance of it as larger. The main stage is centrally located with a pole and is only large enough for one dancer to swing around the pole. The main room has a nice decor with red carpet and black leather swivel chairs and black leather sofas. Sound system is good. The crowd is predominantly a young white business crowd. Beers are $10 to $12 and mixed drinks are $15. A bottle of Grey Goose vodka is $350.
The dancers ranged from mediocre to very hot. There were a lot of foreign dancers - Russian, Albanian, Uruguay, and Hispanic; as well as American dancers. Some of the foreign dancers were very attractive with killer bodies. However, the American dancers were less attractive and tended to be a little overweight. Lap Dances were $20 a song. The VIP booths were in the back of the main room and were $490 for a half hour. The VIP rooms were upstairs on the 2nd floor and are $690 for a half hour (including the dancer). The dancers were pushy.
Lace is recommended as a less expensive alternative to some of the more prestigious Manhattan gentlemen's clubs.
