I hadn't been to the Tropical Lei in some time so decided to stop by on a recent Saturday night. They have done some remodeling since my last visit though the stage area looked the same. The remodeling looked to be in the VIP private dance section. I arrived around 9:30 p.m. It wasn't very crowded with some patrons scattered about the place and one or two at the tipping rail. A few dancers were in the main room and, after getting a drink, was told there were about 12 total. The dancers I saw didn't interest me so was hoping there would be more later on, but that didn't happen. Eventually I saw maybe two dancers who I was interested in but they were preoccupied with other patrons. The place seemed kind of subdued. I don't know if it was an off night, but decided to bag it after about an hour or so.
