I came in on a Saturday night around 10 hoping that the best shift would be on. The doorman was friendly, but I still have a hard time with the $20 entry fee to these clubs. This was my first real Deja Vu experience, although I had been to Dreamgirls previously.

The club was really big with a u-shaped seating area positioned around the main stage on the far wall as you walk in. Take a quick left and there's a smaller stage where some girls would dance a set while on deck for the main stage. Next to that you find the DJ and a wall of "private" dance booths, except that they're not private...they're in full view of all the other patrons.

While I was grabbing an H20 from the bar, a 6'4" monster approached me and, without any sort of introduction, asked if I wanted a dance. I'm a little taller than average, but she was taller than I was and broader too. Definitely not a good start, IMO. I quickly went and found a seat, where just as quickly I was approached by Grandma, who promptly asked for a dance. I said "no", then she asked if I'd go back to her "office" to see if she could warm me up. Hell no. She left, as a line of dancers began to form behind her.
