This place is unlike any other...

This place is unlike any other strip club, and not in a good way. I'm sure it's busier and more lively on Friday/Saturday nights, but based on my recent experience, I wouldn't bother going back. I have never seen strippers with less interest in making money. When I got there, I sat at the stage to watch one girl dance, and I tipped nicely. When she got off stage, I expected her to make a lap around the club and ask about dances...like every other club I've ever been to. I waited a bit, and she and another girl emerged from the back in street clothes and left the club. Not long after, another dancer caught my eye. I talked to her as I watched at the stage (and tipped), she said she was the waitress on shift. I inquired about a private dance, she said she could not give a private dance because of her waitress responsibilities. The place was dead. On top of that, when I first entered the club, the manager, a man, was getting customers drink orders. At this point, you have to wonder if maybe these girls are just into pole dancing for the exercise. Granted, many nights in a big city strip club (Miami, Tampa, etc) I will get fed up with being hit up for dances non-stop and wish I wouldn't get asked about dances all night. I can tell you the exact opposite, never being asked about a dance, isn't much fun either. I must say, it's an incredibly unique experience to set aside some cash for the night, walk into a strip club, and leave with 95% of that money still in your wallet. I gave the Cafe a 1 on monetary value because apparently your money has no value. I couldn't tell you the price of a dance here. I'm amazed that the biggest public university in one of the country's most populous states doesn't have enough young female talent to make a decent strip club.
