I flew to San Diego for...

I flew to San Diego for the sole purpose of trying these Mexican clubs out over the next five days. This is day one and all I can say is this place is amazing. I was a little nervous going by myself but my nervousness proved to be unfounded. I was also concerned how the girls would received me since I'm a 60 year old AA male, but that didn't seem to be a problem either.

Once I arrived in San Diego I took the local bus #992 towards downtown to catch the trolley to San Ysidro (bus fare $1.10 senior citizen rate, $2.25 regular fare). The trolley ride took about forty minutes to arrive in San Ysideo and it was interesting to see to sites and all the stops ( trolley fare $1.25 for seniors and regular fare is $2.25 ).

So once I arrive at the border I see the bridge that everyone is walking over, however, this is not the way to get into Mexico now. There is a new path where you walk to the left of the U.S. customs building, down a street, around a corner, up a hill, around another a curve, and finally through the gates. Now you pass by armed security guards, down a flight of stairs, and then you walk along a two lane walkway which passes the people trying to return to the U.S. and numerous shops. Finally a policeman stops traffic so you can cross over about three lanes of traffic to get through a gate where the taxis are waiting. The drivers actually come running up to you in order to get you to ride with them. And most if not all of them speak English. About 5 minutes later and for 5 dollars I arrive at Hong Kong.
