I expected the Yellow Rose to...

I expected the Yellow Rose to be somewhat of a backwoods hill billy place but it was really nice. I had a great time. The bar staff was friendly and gave good service. The seating was nice and plenty.

The girls were a range and included whites, blacks, and Mexicans. All were super friendly–very southern. I had lap dances from two girls. Neither were incredible but worth the $20 a song. One girl asked if I would come back the next evening early so we could hang out and drink (I didn't) but I felt she was actually genuine and not just trying to hustle me (she probably was).

Overall, I would go back next time I'm in Austin.
