Last night was an ordinary Friday...

Last night was an ordinary Friday night following a long week of work and some travel. I decided at the last minute to get out for a little fun and Dreamgirls at Rick's was the destination. I had not visited the club since last June, as I decided I just needed a break from that club and things haven't changed that much, except for the talent. I only recognized a few of the dancers that were in and most of the rest were "new" (at least since the last time I visited). Club was moderately full but I have seen the place absolutely packed before. The "talent" yesterday evening was just average IMHO as I didn't see anyone who really stood out for me. One girl who was previously a waitress came by and we actually had a decent conversation. I didn't get any dances from her, however, as she just wasn't my type. Great person nonetheless. I did see Myra, a skinny brunette, who recognized me and came over to say hi. We caught up a bit and then we went to the VIP for a little fun. The dancers present last night were as varied as I've seen at the club, but some of the best looking dancers who were previously at the club have either moved on or were off last night.

Overall, it was an entertaining experience but the club lacked the energy that I've seen there before.
