Not bad for the only club...
Not bad for the only club in the great state of Vermont.
So, after a year away from this strip club desert, I returned and found that the number of clubs in the area had been cut in half. This was not a huge loss as Shenanigans had nice dancers but a no-touch rule. What’s the point? Planet Rock, on the other hand, while modest, is nevertheless legit. The dancers allow a decent amount of touching, but be warned, in its Puritanic wisdom the great state of Vermont has a rule that a woman must be covered during a lapdance. They can go topless or bottomless, but they must retreat to a corner of the lapdance room (so you can’t touch them, heaven forbid) when doing so. The lapdances are held in individual but small rooms behind curtains.
Anyway, like I said, it’s a modest club. It really has a neighborhood bar feel with a stage and occasionally some women doing lapdances. Every night but one that I was there it had only three dancers; one time it actually had four. You strip-club regulars will quickly realize that one of the dancers has danced elsewhere before and knows exactly what to do in a club. Fortunately, she’s also the most attractive dancer, too. One other (the first one’s friend) does not work as often but is also very good. All of the others did a credible stage dance but seemed to just be going through the motions otherwise. Generally, they just sat at the bar or on the couch and didn’t ask anyone for dances, including the guys (like me) who tipped them when they were on the stage. This was disappointing as all of the dancers were in their own ways attractive, though none (except the two friends) were outstanding.
