I've been going to Mons Venus...

I've been going to Mons Venus and Tampa Area Strip Clubs for years now. I try other clubs, and even with some of it's minor issues, I keep coming back to Mons. The club itself is on the smaller side of medium. It can fill quickly and become a little overwhelming. I usually go during the late afternoon and early evening and find the ratio of patrons to dancers to be good. The club is clean and lit well enough to make for a comfortable environment. Cover is a little steep at $20, but they make up for it by not jacking up the price of drinks. Cover, soda and tip for the always friendly wait staff will get you seeing girls for less than 25 bucks. Plenty of seating around the stage to get up close with the girls, and comfortable seating with tables if you prefer a wider vantage point. The only drawback to the facility itself is the lack of a live DJ. The girls feed a jukebox for tunes. It interrupts the flow of the dancers from time to time, but maybe not having to pay a guy keeps those drink prices down.

The girls are why I love Mons. Best looking bunch in Tampa. Good mix of ethnicities and "types". Pale white girls, tan white girls, Latino, light and dark skin black girls, skinny spinners, covered in tattoos, school girl, big tits, etc. Honestly, about the only thing I've not seen much of is Asian. If you can't find what you like at Mons, you won't find it anywhere. The girls dance in shifts on the stage, giving you a great opportunity to see who's working. When not on stage, they wander around and interact with the clientele, introducing themselves and seeking individuals who would like a private dance. They are usually very nice about asking and aren't overly aggressive. Once you find one you like, that's when the night gets better.

The only other knock I have about Mons is the lack of private lap dance areas. The private dances take place in the sides and corners of the club, to be sure, but are still out in the open in plain view of everyone. Great when you've got a bachelorette party there showcasing some nice girl on girl action, but it can be a bit unnerving for some, knowing then can be seen. One of the areas also backs ups to the main sitting area and occasionally some arm contact can take place with other patrons. Just be watchful. That being said, this is a full nude, full contact establishment. With about the only off limit area being the vagina, they are truly full contact. The perfect place if you like to touch as much as be touched while getting a dance. The mirrors on multiple surfaces give you great angles to see all the action if you wish. Overall, Second only to the Hustler club in New Orleans, some of the best lap dances out of the dozen or so clubs I've even been to. Prices for all dances are listed as "negotiable" and that holds true, although the dancers will start about $30 a song, the price can come down the more you get. 3 for 60 or 5 for 100 is not a stretch if you ask for it.
