I went in on a Tuesday...

I went in on a Tuesday evening around 9:00. I didn't count, but there were at least (in the immortal words of The Beach Boys) two girls for every boy. Every last one of them was very attractive. Unless your preference is fat chicks, there was a dancer there for every preference. Do you like bleached blondes with big knockers? Take your pick between real and fake. Do you like your dancer thin, toned and under 21? There were two or three. Do you like the "girl next door?" There were several.

This is not your typical SE Portland dive bar with strippers. The club is nicely done and clean. Seating is in three tiers. The bottom tier is the main stage and the bar. The middle tier is mostly just seats and tables, but there's a cage on one side that looks like it might be used by the dancers when the club is jumping. On the top level are more chairs and tables, two more stages and the lap dance areas. For those who smoke there's a huge smoking area outside that is covered, enclosed, and heated.

At the main stage rack several of the dancers were very friendly. Two bucks a song often got me a mini-lap or boobs-in -the-face or legs-over-the-shoulders. Sitting at the top tier stage (the catwalk) was even nicer. Most of the time I was the only person up there other than the dancer on the stage. Most of the girls on the catwalk were bored and appreciative of having some company up there. In addition, the seating at the catwalk rack lets you easily watch both the catwalk show and the main stage show down below. I didn't see anyone using the third stage. It's small and reserved for under 21 year old dancers when they're not on the main stage. Oregon law permits minors as dancers in bars, but they are not permitted to be out on the floor when they're not on stage. Cabaret II is the only club I know of that sets aside a small stage so that the younger girls have an opportunity to sell dances even when they're not on one of the main stages.
