I was in town on business...

I was in town on business and I was bored, so I stopped into Mermaids... primarily because it was close and I didn't want to drive across the bay to some of the better clubs. I got there around 10:30pm, and there were a few girls there, but not many. There were some stage dances, but no one seemed to be tipping. The selection of girls was pretty limited, but there were several attractive ladies. I intentionally didn't bring much cash with me, but I got a few lapdances. One with a really lithe dancer who unfortunately kind of smelled, and then with another dancer who had an amazing large ass. The dances were okay, but they weren't topless. I got the impression that more fun could be had in the VIP rooms, but I didn't want to spring for that.

I came back the next night prepared to see what the VIP offered, and there were far fewer dancers. I had a dance with an amazingly hot spinner, but she seemed bored during the dance. After that, she and pretty much every other girl the club got tied up in extended VIPs, so after watching the one or two dancers who were left, I decided to call it a night. One of the dancers seemed kind of into me, and started talking about meeting me back at my hotel, but she wasn't my type so I bailed before that conversation progressed any further.

This is an okay club if you are in the beachfront area, but I wouldn't drive far for this club, especially with so many other clubs in Tampa.
