Yes, it was a Monday night....
Yes, it was a Monday night. Yes, it was slow, about eight customers in the place for the five dancers. But it should not make a difference. I have never seen the lack of interest and even distaste the girls seem to have for the customers this particular night. I mean, if you don't want to dance, then don't. Stay at home. But don't come in and walk around the stage, appearing as if this is the most boring part of your day.
The dancers on this particular shift certainly seemed they just hated their job. And though none of them verbally stated it, it was obvious by the lack of interest in any of the customers in the room, they just wanted to be somewhere else. One girl almost seemed to delight in dancing at the far end of the stage, away from any of the customers. She did the entire set at the other end and conveniently behind a rather awkwardly placed support beam. Never did she walk over to the side of the stage where the customers were.
Four times I was asked for a dance. This is the most I got out of any of them. "You want a dance". What was amazing, three of them did it without even breaking stride. You know it is bad, when they offer a special, and none of the guys are interested. And before the exciting music announcing the special is even close to being over, they are all back on the couches sitting alone.
