Went on a Monday night, so...

Went on a Monday night, so wasn't the best time. Club is nicely out of the way, easy to get to about 15 minutes from Toledo, but outside city limits. Outside is pretty understated and doesn't look like much. Inside the club is pretty nice. Comfortable chairs, nice stage. Private dance booths are along the back wall. They pull curtains to show the DJ that you're doing a private dance. Food is pretty good, ok price for a strip club. I was the only customer in the place at 8 pm on a Monday, so it wasn't a surprise there were only 3 girls there.

None of the women was my type. One heavy but sweet and smart afro-american, one 20s white, one 35 white, both nice enough. But I was looking for a skinny blonde that night, and they said someone was coming in that would be what I wanted. Eventually saw a woman head to the dressing room who looked good from the back. About 15 minutes later she came to my table and sat down. And I swear, when I looked at her face to say hello I had to stop myself from saying "What happened to you!" To be as fair as I can, she looked like she was 40, and had smoked three packs a day while hanging out in direct sunlight every day since she was 15. Except she was pale. Her body was OK, but must be an incredible dancer because she was nothing to look at. One of those faces you try to forget. That's when I learned I'm pickier than I though I was.

This was not the fantasy I go to clubs for, and I don't think I'll be going back on a Monday any time soon. Three very meh dancers, and one who was the worst disappointment I've had at a club. Couldn't have been more disappointed. I said I was really looking for something else, and left. I didn't want to insult her, but I have to let you know what you might be in for on a slow night.
