Been a while since I've had an opportunity to get out and make an SC trip due to new job in northern NJ. Finally had a day off from work (Monday, go figure) so I wanted to make my first visit to Onyx. A rapper by the name of "Shy Glizzy" was at the club also and had a performance, thus drawing a huge younger crowd. Place was pretty crowded, and normally I don't mind a big crowd but this particular night (01/18/15) was pretty insane. As you'd figure, the dancers are predominately AA with big butts. SO if that's not your twist, I'd advise you to check another club. Decided not to get any private or personal dancers, just ended up tipping a few girls here and there that were making rounds, as well as throwing some bills at the stage.

The crowd to me was a huge turn off. Honestly, it felt like a huge brawl could've broken out at anytime just because somebody inadvertently stepped on another one's shoes. I definitely do like the atmosphere and plan to return at next opportunity, just need to be sure there's not a ridiculously large crowd in the building as well.
