A bunch of friends and I were in NO for a guys weekend. It was Friday afternoon and we'd started drinking and needed to hit a strip club. Rick's seemed like a nice place, so we stopped in. First thing we were told, no outside drinks in the bar. Kind of a surprise for a Friday afternoon, but not totally unexpected.

Once we all got inside, we bought drinks and had a seat. I will say the place was very nice inside and the girls were great looking. The thing that turned me off is soon after sitting down, we started to get the big hussle. One girl in particular, came over, chatted for about a minute, and then wanted to take me and one other friend upstairs to show off the private area. I'm one to see what the place is like, so I went up with her. Big mistake. I got the brief 1 minute tour, followed by the next 15 minute hard sell for a dance. After repeatedly saying no, she finally got the clue and came back downstairs with me. Then it was off to the next guy.

I get these ladies are there to make money. My friends and i don't mind spending it. Just sit down, let us buy you a drink, chat for a while, and then ask for a dance. Other places on bourbon aren't as nice to look at, but the girls are much more friendly in this regard. My recommendation, if you are looking for a 10, Rick's is the place, but if you want a little better service, hit some other places.
