I hate to lower the rating...

I hate to lower the rating of what had become one of my favorite clubs, but after my last visit to Play House, I'm thinking about investigating some possibly-greener pastures.

The big difference is the quality of the dancers. For the first time since beginning to visit Play House, I saw dancers who really should be in another line of work. I'm used to seeing at least 1/2 dozen girls in the 8-10 range, but there was only one on this night. I asked about some of the dancers with whom I'd spent pleasurable evenings before, and others who were on my "must get dances from her" list, and most of them no longer work at the club. I tried to sound out a couple of dancers as to whether working conditions had changed, or other reasons why so many of my favorites had left, but had no luck. (Of course, it's a bit unreasonable to expect a dancer to share the details of her work life with an occasional customer.)

One aspect of the club that has remained strong is the mileage. If anything, that has improved. In addition, the general attitude of the club remains friendly and welcoming, still a rarity among strip clubs.
